Monthly Meetings: All meetings are at the Will Rogers Exhibition Center at 3400 NW 36th, Oklahoma City, OK. All meetings are open to the public and visitors are enthusiastically welcomed. We have monthly meetings on the first Fridays in February through June, and August through December starting at 6:30pm. All of our meetings begin with a potluck meal. You can now get directions to find us via google maps, just type in Oklahoma Iris Society, and it will lead you to us!! ALL EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!

- Friday, April 3rd, 6:30pm: April Meeting, program: "How to Win the Iris Show" presented by Master American Iris Society Judge, Dell Perry.
- Saturday, April 4th, 1pm-5pm: Early Iris Show and SALE!-at 2pm there will be a free Petite Floral Design 101 demo.
- Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26th, 1-5pm on Sat, 11am-4pm on Sunday: 94th Annual Iris Festival!
- Friday, May 1st: Membership Only Garden Tour-join our membership to receive access.
- Saturday, May 9th, 9am-4pm: Iris Sale at the Myriad Gardens OKC Garden Festival
- Saturday, May 30th, 9am-3:30pm: Iris Sale at the Garden Festival at Will Rogers Gardens
- Friday, June 5th, 6:30pm: Annual Ice Cream Social, program featuring Hugh Stout and his Iris hybridizing program.
- Friday, Aug. 7th at 6:30pm: Aug. Meeting featuring special guest speaker, Ginny Spoon of Winterberry Iris Farm.
- Saturday, Aug. 8th, 9am-11am: Judges Training-Topic TBD. By Ginny Spoon.
- Friday, Sept. 4th, 6:30pm: 2nd Annual Membership Appreciation Night
- Friday-Saturday, Sept. 25-26th, 8:30am-5pm: ANNUAL IRIS RHIZOME SALE!
About Us
Established in 1924, the Oklahoma Iris Society is a group of garden enthusiasts who foster the growth, appreciation and study of the genus iris. We accomplish this through monthly meetings, judges schools, shows, sales, garden tours and our stewardship of the Iris Gardens at Will Rogers Gardens and the Iris Garden at Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. We celebrated our 90th anniversary of incorporation in 2022.
